Does Centred Counselling accept Medical Aid?

Unfortunately not. Centred Counselling is not registered with the HPCSA but is registered with the ASCHP. For medical aid to refund you, the practitioner would need HPCSA registration.

What is the length of each session?

The first session is 80 minutes to allow for a thorough initial assessment, and all follow-up sessions are 50 minutes each.

Do you provide ONLINE and IN-PERSON sessions?

Yes, Byron provides both in-person sessions at our Sunninghill office and virtual online sessions via Microsoft Teams for your convenience.

I’m nervous to start counselling. Is that normal?

Yes, nervousness is completely normal! It means you care about your self-growth. Most clients find that after the first few minutes, the session feels like a comfortable, friendly conversation.
